Understanding the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA):
The mechanism in which Meta Energy is able to provide solar at no cost to the homeowner is called a power purchase agreement. The basic concept is you, the home owner, will purchase the energy the system creates from Meta Energy at a cost that is 35% less than what you pay with your current electric provider. You pay nothing up front, you only pay for the electricity the system generates. Meta Energy handles all the maintenance and upkeep for the length of the agreement. Allowing you to collect all the savings of solar without any of the overhead or debt obligations
