Utilizing solar for your non-profit organization not only reduces what you spend on electricity, it helps improve the stability of the overall grid. Not to mention the environmental benefits. Why isn’t your non profit taking advantage of state and federal incentives to save money?

Ask yourself, even if solar was the same cost as getting electricity from the your current provider, wouldn’t it better serve your mission to get power from a clean renewable source?

Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)

If a business does not want to purchase and maintain the system itself, they can ask Meta Energy Advisors to implement a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for their facilities. In this model, which is particularly beneficial for nonprofit businesses, Meta installs the system, and the business then purchases its power from Meta at a discounted rate of up to 20% off of their current electric rate.

Available Commercial Solar Benefits

Meta Energy Advisors will help guide you through the many solar tax incentives available to businesses who want to purchase a system. Incentives include:

Your organization could qualify for tax credits covering 50% of a project’s total cost. That’s half off the cost of your entire project!

Tax incentives are transferable.

We provide tax equity partners who will purchase your tax credits for cash. Allowing you to still capitalize on tax credits even if your business does not need them.

Non Profits can also add grant opportunities to your tax credit savings.
